Kenya Team 2015

Fairfax Circle Church has a team going to Kenya in August!  The team is made up of five members.  Carolyn Inman is the Team Leader.  Her team includes Melissa Bowhay, Regina Millard, Jeff Bechtle and Virgil LaBoard.

The purpose of the trip is to train national leaders in Nandi Kenya in the area of children's discipleship.  They expect to have 60 students attend their training.

The team would like you to partner with them.  You can do that in three ways.

1.  Read the post and leave a comment.  As we start out we are going to make this fun.  The first person to go on line and research Nandi and then post one thing they learned about Nandi will win a prize from Elise.

2.  Pray for the team.  You will be told how to pray for the team through this blog.

3.  Attend the Kenya Event on June 28th.  During that event families will play games together, led by the team.   There will be chances to write notes of encouragement and have a time of prayer for the team.

The blog will come out every week from now until the end of August.  Thanks ahead of time for being a part of it.

  1. Nandi is a county in Kenya whose main food dish is Ugali, which is a maize flour (cornmeal) rolled into a ball and dipped into a sauce or stew of meat or vegetables.
